Last night I was visiting friends and two people at the gathering had identical old framed sketches of the exact same scene, both were about 75 to a hundred years old and were so similar yet come from two different parts of the country. It was all pure coincidence. We surmised it may have been part of a turn of the century art class or a popular painting of the time and was copied regularly. If anyone recognizes the work from my description please give me a lead where I might find a peek of the original.
Description Two horses in a field near a tree. One horse is black the other is white. both are running toward an impending storm, Clouds and bad weather in the sky, and the white is loping it's neck over that of the black as they run.
any help greatly appreciated
