I just ran across your posting when I did a google search to find out something--anything--about Paul Detlefson. I have a print of "The Red Caboose" in my family room in new condition. It was purchased by my mother in 1965.

Unlike Detlefson's others, it includes no people or animals. But like his others, as you undoubtedly appreciate, this one is also very nostalgic and particularly melancholy because it makes the observer feel alone in the wilderness as the train passes by. I often sit and contemplate what direction the train is heading, where its going and why.

I assume you're looking to buy. But I've never really contemplated selling it.
