Thanks for the response. I do know that James Sessions did paint a lot of fishing/sail boats but I don't recall the Herring boat title. As much as I would love to own all of my childrens grandfathers paintngs, I don't know how to make that a possibility with the one you own. Where are you located? There is still the question of the painting be real or not. I welcome your suggestions. Thanks!
