: I have a print of a street corner. The penicl signature looks like "Apies Julien Celos". What would the Apies mean. It also says "Publ. by E. J. Mfg. N.Y. #18". Is this signature of Celos real or put on by the publisher?
It probably reads "Apres Julien Celos" (French), which would mean it is a print or etch based on a work of Julien Celos.
