JEAN PIERRE NACHER

Jean Pierre Nacher is a French artist, born on March 8th 1942. He is difficult to classify but reviews have often used the terms "lyrical abstract" and outsider" to qualify his very personal genre. He has exhibited in many places in France: Collioure, Perpignan, Canet, Narbonne, Le Chambon sur Lignon, Grenoble , Paris and in the USA in Gloucester Massachusetts, but ill at ease with the pressures of the big business art scene today he has increasingly become marginal . Nevertheless his work is well worth seeing as it illustrates a very personal, original perception expressing now the beauty and joy of existence now the solitude, fear and horror(war).
